Urgent Appeal against Blockade of DAPA and Postponement of DACA
After last week’s blockade of the DACA and DAPA immigration programs by a Texas judge, an emergency motion was presented today by the Department of Justice of the United States, which calls for a suspension of this decision and lifting the blockade.
26 States continue to oppose DAPA and DACA , while several lawyers from the Department of Justice stated that to prevent these migrant programs from going into effect, can cause a great deal of harm to the country affecting millions of immigrants and the economy in general.
In the meantime the decision is on hold awaiting a response to the urgent appeal filed by the Obama administration to re-enable the actions of the DACA and DAPA immigration programs in the United States.
