Syrian refugees arrive in Texas USA.

Twenty one refugees have arrived in Texas. In spite of the enormous controversy generated by the Texas Governor’s refusal to accept more Syrian refugees, Dallas will soon receive these individuals who have families already living in the State.

The arrival to Dallas of some of these refugees had been postponed but has now become a reality. All this in the midst of a major debate in the United States about whether or not to grant asylum to foreigners from Islamic countries that may have a history and be dangerous to the security of the United States.

After the attack in Paris last November 13 with 130 deaths and the San Bernardino, California attack with 14 murders and 21 others injured, several states refused to admit refugees and this is still being debated whether to wait until a checking system can be properly implemented. President Obama has said that the law on refugees cannot be violated ad has promised that the United States will take in a total of 10,000 Syrians.

So far Texas has received approximately 240 Syrian refugees. Since the war started in 2011, more than 4 million Syrian refugees have abandoned their country.
