The Wall Separates Donald Trump and Peña Nieto

Construction of the border Wall between Mexico and the U.S. is taking on strength. President Donald Trump has already signed two executive orders regarding immigration; the completion of the Wall and expanding detention facilities for illegal immigrants.

The order states that the purpose of the Wall is the “prevent illegal immigration, trafficking of drugs and people and acts of terrorism”.

There has been a worldwide reaction to the news that President Peña Nieto of Mexico cancelled his state visit to Washington, as a result of tweets from Donald Trump that Mexico will pay for all the expenses. This has created grave concern and uncertainty in the Spanish speaking countries on both side of the Atlantic.
