More States have Granted Drivers Licenses to Immigrants
There is good news for the immigrant community in the United States. Positive data continues to be announced on everything having to do with immigration. Starting on January 2, 2015 undocumented persons may apply for their licenses in California and Connecticut.
This means that 10 States will now grant licenses to undocumented immigrants, aside from Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia.
In addition to the above, starting February the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) will facilitate that more undocumented workers may apply for this benefit.
This year 2015 has started with positive announcements, and will continue to feature these reforms in the media that will benefit many undocumented immigrants.
