Texas Judge Request List of Undocumented DACA Recipients
A federal court judge from Texas has called on the Government to hand over a list of the 100,000 young undocumented immigrants who have benefited from the Program of Deferred Action (DACA), created in 2012 and have received a renewal for three years.
In an article published by Agencia EFE USA, this program has been temporarily suspended and is being studied by the Supreme Court, which shall issue a decision possibly in June. For this reason, they are requesting the identification of all these young immigrants who are residing in this country on a temporary permit, who wish to obtain a work permit.
The uneasiness and insecurity created by this situation, in addition to immigration issues discussed among the presidential candidates, is resulting in protest marches in several States.
