This country has always welcomed immigrants worldwide and we are proud to be a citizen of this great country. We are all descendants of people coming from Europe, Africa and Asia to start a new life in this country, or are first generation immigrants and this mixture of cultures and nationalities has made the U.S. what it is today.
The issue of immigration is going to be one of the most debated in the coming elections. The huge Hispanic population will be a powerful force when it comes time to vote.
