Government Continues Deportation of Undocumented Aliens

The U.S. Government continues to firmly maintain its policy to remove undocumented immigrants who have crossed the border into the United States over the past 18 months.

According to Agencia EFE, a spokesperson from the Department of Homeland Security, has made it known that undocumented immigrants who have crossed the border since January 1, 2014 are under suspicion with the immigration authorities and are in danger of deportation.

This situation was aggravated by the surge of unaccompanied minors who travelled through Mexico to the United States from Central American countries such as Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. The issue of how to handle the continued influx of mothers with children and how to handle the deportation of so many is a hot topic in the 2016 Presidential race.
