Mexican Consulates in Texas Sign Agreement Protecting Minors
More than ten Mexican Consulates throughout Texas have signed an agreement with Texas CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) program to protect immigrant Mexican children who are in the custody of authorities in Texas.
Agencia EFE has reported that the agreement between the consulates and the Texas CASA organization is intended to strengthen the protection of these Mexican minors, and collaborate to connect children with their families, whether they live in Mexico or the U.S. and in cases that are considered beneficial, to facilitate the repatriation of these minors.
Consulting with a licensed immigration attorney, authorized and experienced in handling these types of cases can assure that you will receive the guidance needed and your case is handled correctly.
