Texas first state to release undocumented immigrant children
Everyone knows the terrible news of the quantity of children crossing the border alone the United States, however the ORR reported that more than 43,000 children undocumented detainees have been released in the custody of relatives in the first 8 months of the year.
These children are arrested and transferred to the custody of the Office of Refugee Resettlement ORR, offices of the Administration for Children and Families. Reside for a while in detention, where they are cared for and receive medical professionals, education, care and food, waiting to be released.
Texas leads the list with more than 6,217 undocumented migrant children released in the custody of relatives. We are New York, California, Florida and Maryland.
