In either case notifications will be sent to those affected by this change, informing when this transfer will take place and where the case will be processed. The forms will remain the same; I-751 for the Petition to Remove Conditions of Residence and I-130 for the Petition for Alien Relative.

The receipt numbers of the original cases will remain the same and this does not delay the case processing, with the exception of the additional time needed to transfer the file to the new location. Any change of residential address should be informed as soon as possible to the offices of USCIS

Information on the follow up of the cases can be found on the website at USCIS by calling customer service. When in doubt it is always advisable to contact an immigration attorney.

Always consult with an experienced immigration attorney who is a law graduate and certified in the United States of America by the Board of Immigration Appeals Federal Department of Justice.
